It has been pretty hot out in the past few day's hope everyone is making sure their horses have plenty of nice fresh cold water :) It is important also for horses to have a run in so they can get out of the hot sun!! I like to hose my guys off every hour on the hour to keep them nice and cool!

So the news is i got a new horse yes yes my winter project his name is Dewey i know this picture doesn't make him look very good but he will get there.
I had some test done on him and he came with worms but its all ok nothing we can't fix.
So he is on medicine and now feeling much better i will keep everyone updated on Dewey there will be more pictures of him coming so keep your eye out.

Sad Buyers Story but the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On December 2nd I went to look at a very nice TB Mare which guys believe me she was a looker!!!! This story is very true and what I am trying to do here is to let people with horses know is that buyers or sellers shouldn't be in this business if they don't know how to treat people or even ride their own horse. So here it goes and whoever reads this I would like nothing more then have you guys email me see what everyone thinks.

So one day a friend sends me this add on a TB mare and I did responded to the add. I sent an email to this lady and I did set the date which was December 2nd to go look at the horse, so after I got to the barn the lady was so nice , now me as I buyer I know there is few things I look for which 2 of those things are;
1-- I know I always want to see the owner ride their horse which the lady at first was not to comfy with it but she did get on the mare so now
2--- I always ask the person to walk and trot the horse well now we got in to I can't do it unless someone leads me around on my own horse kind of a thing, so this lady had barn owner to lead her around on her own horse. So guys what could you think of that? Me as a buyer I say the lady has never been on the horse before and shouldn't own a TB off the track but I said to my self ok well let me try sitting on the mare so I get up on the horse fix my stirrups on her as I am on top of her and I said ok I am ready to try her in the walk which the horse was awesome till she got spooked by the other horses in the pasture so she started to shake her head and picked up a trot so I sit back on the mare and calm her down but the owner had said someone grab the rains?? I looked at her and said no I am fine let me be and when I got done trying this mare out and got down off of her the owner had said to me WOW I haven't seen anyone do that before, so now I take the tack off the horse get the blankets on her and the lady said to me I want to go see your place I was like ummmmm ok I guess so she followed me to my own house and before she left she asked me when will I hear from you? , so I said by tonight well me a my husband already knew we weren’t going to buy the mare so I email this lady that night and the email simply said I am sorry but as of right now we feel its unfair to my pony to have the really tiny stall and with x-mass coming right now we will have to pass , so guys and gals I was trying to use ummm you know that saying doctors say you have to have good bed side manners well that’s what I was trying to be and next day I get a nasty email from this lady cursing me out and saying I am pretty well a dead beat tire kicker and so on and on......

I pick up the phone and call her which doesn’t surprise me one bit she never picked up her phone so I left a message saying Hey when you really want to know the truth why I didn't buy the horse call me, but for me sure seems weird that you can't ride your horse that you have had for many months so this lady right away emails me back saying this,,

Since I get crappy phone reception here and can't keep a call....
I got your message, not that I need to justify myself to you...I haven't ridden in 5 yrs before getting my mare have only ridden her a few times.
I am very out of shape and lack confidence due to 2 bad falls on other horses before I got her. I am VERY experienced, and if I really wanted to could give you references who would tell you that. 10 yrs ago this mare
would have been the perfect horse for me, when I had the time every day to ride, train and take weekly lessons. Enough said, please don't bother me again, as I have too many other things on my plate to deal with right now and don't have the time for junk mail.

So this lady has the balls to tell me not to send her junk emails as I only called her she sent me total of 3 emails this morning which I find it crazy so the only way was to put her on my junk block email list because she wouldn't leave me alone. See she said I offended her and I wasted her time but last I did check when you are a buyer when you go look at the horse that’s for sale you might buy it or you might not buy it this is why we look and try the horses out people I been doing this for over 7 years and I do have a clue and I have a pretty good judgment on people and horses I am not saying I am perfect because everyone makes mistakes but this was so strange so people please take in consideration and think and really ask questions if you are buying a horses and beware of people like this one, I just hope this lady doesn’t put other buyers through this because if she does wow she needs to relax a bit don’t you think so?????

Hi all I wanted to share something special with you all, well here it goes......
Yesterday I looked out to the field at my two horses I have and the new pony was chasing my goat and my Quarter Horse so hay it was getting so bad I went out to get the pony which I got the halter and lead rope on him as I was holding him he went up and struck his foot out towards me so I moved to the side and when my Quarter horse saw it he ran up to the pony and he stood up on his back legs striking at the pony so what I am getting at here is that my last person I trained with she always said horses have a brain size on a pee and they are so stupid , I never believed that for my own horse that I have had for over 6 years he tried protecting me yesterday which I kind of though was neat, the best part is that I said hardy whoop body I am ok he backed right off the pony so for those who think and say a horses is a stupid animal it isn’t true people and if someone tries to tell you that please don't believe them.

Anyways that's all for today gang just wanted to share this with you all.

Did a trail ride in Chester!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi well we have a new month September 1st yepeee and what a way for me to start it I went on a nice trailride yes it was fun it is also nice to be able to ride you're horse in an eggbut snaffle bid no draws and just be able to do it all. My last trainer always went to draws and harsh bits well that's not the way my horse is just fine the way he is and he is super cool hehehehe. The trail ride was fun we were gone for 2 hours came back gived the horses a bath then put them out to the feild. Thats it for news now maybe more tomorrow, also i will have new videos and pictures of me and my friend on the site.

Hi all I know it has been wile since I posted here but we are on the road allot with the horses, well since now my horse Hardy backs out of the trailer we have been going to the indoors trail rides other nice huge farms I will be posting videos and pictures soon I also have a show coming up on October 23 its a two phase at The Cutter farm ! Please visit for more information. Also soon in September we are going on a huge trail ride at Bear Brook State park I will post a date for that as well.

Hello everyone this is going to be the new "HARDY NEWS" page here I will be posting different updates
for Hardy Acre's Equine pages also I will post classifieds here and many other great news.
I know I will try to keep you updated everyday for news sales new horses for sale.
At this moment of time we offer to upload your video of you horse/pony to our servers there is
one time fee of $ 50.00 till your horse/pony sells, all other adds are free even picture adds if you wish
to post an add email me at hardy@hardyacresequine.net or simply go to the classifieds page and email
me from there.

Please if you have any new ideas for the pages also send me an email, we will be posting new
pictures of the farm very soon. If your Horse/Pony has been sold, I kindly ask you make a DONATION towards your Ad. Your DONATION will go towards the running costs of http://www.hardyacresequine.net you can always find the link under
